“We had a student that joined us last year from Saudi Arabia and he came with no English…he was really frustrated because he understood the content but he wasn’t able to express himself and the progress that we saw in his writing was incredible over the course of the year.

In the episode veteran Inclusion Coordinator Hannah Docherty shares how our award-winning software has enabled teachers from early childhood to grade 12 to support students with dyslexia dyscalculia and other learning challenges. ⭐Did you know this about the IDL Literacy distribution chart?

In the IDL Literacy programme, raw scores from the reading and spelling tests are used to generate a standard score based on the pupil’s year group. 

The standard scores displayed on the distribution chart show pupil performance relative to their peers. For example, if a child obtains a standard score of 100, they would be considered ‘average’, or performing at the same level as the majority of their peers. 📊
