IDL can be used as a one stop shop for your SATs preparation. Both IDL Literacy and Numeracy cover the key elements of SATs, breaking each subject down into short and easy-to-follow lessons – meaning pupils can progress and build their knowledge without being overwhelmed.

Reading, Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar

IDL Literacy includes reading, typing and spelling exercises which many schools have found useful for SAT practice, particularly around the core subjects of English, Maths and Science. These can be completed during school time or set as homework activities in the period leading up to their exams; making IDL a perfect revision tool which can be used by any child to boost reading, spelling, punctuation & grammar skills.

Research conducted by Lifting Barriers has found that the IDL Literacy programme is proven to increase reading & spelling ages of learners by 11 months after just 26 hours of use.

Maths

IDL Numeracy has been specially developed to support the National Curriculum for KS1 (Key Stage 1) Maths and KS2 (Key Stage 2) with schools reporting great improvements in Numeracy ability for their pupils on the programme. Each lesson is made up of an interactive mathematical puzzle and contains at least one of the main mathematical principles; making solving maths problems fun and reducing the anxiety associated with Maths.
