IDL Numeracy Screener

The IDL Numeracy Screener has been developed to provide a simple to use online test that will highlight any dyscalculic tendencies or number SEN. The test takes around 15 minutes and is perfect for screening pupils aged up to 11 years.

It can be used to screen an entire year group, or for individual pupils who are showing signs of maths anxiety or particular maths difficulties.

The test is multi-sensory, with clear audio and visual instructions which are child friendly and easy to follow. This helps to eliminate any other factors which may impact the test, such as literacy ability, so it purely focuses on the maths capability of a pupil.

The Government’s new ‘Every Child Achieving and Thriving’ White Paper sets out reforms to the schools and SEND systems in England to help ensure every child can achieve and thrive. 👏
