IDL Numeracy has been named CV Magazine’s Most Innovative Educational Software Provider at the 2019 Innovator Awards.

The awards now in its fifth year celebrates the leading lights in technology who year upon year expand their services and products in order to grow and to keep up with the supersonic pace of the technology industry.

IDL Numeracy is our most recent development designed for those with dyscalculia and for low attaining learners in mathematics.  It includes a fully graded course to support the National Curriculum for numeracy at KS1 and KS2. In order to be inclusive the lessons are designed to reduce the stress those with dyscalculia would ordinarily feel when faced with mathematical problems. The Government’s new ‘Every Child Achieving and Thriving’ White Paper sets out reforms to the schools and SEND systems in England to help ensure every child can achieve and thrive. 👏

We’re especially enthusiastic about the significant funding being invested to make mainstream schools more inclusive, increasing access to experts such as specialist teachers and speech and language therapists, and what this could mean for the future of SEND support.
