IDL Just Got Even Better!
November is shaping up to be an exciting month here at IDL, with plenty of things happening behind the scenes.
From upcoming events and product updates to exciting news and special opportunities, there’s lots to look forward to. Here’s your round-up of everything happening at IDL this month!
Level Up: New Numeracy Content
IDL Numeracy has been extended with new Level 6 content across most strands, giving teachers more opportunities to stretch and challenge higher-attaining pupils. 690 new lessons have been added, bringing the total to 3,400! The additional content also provides further practice with concepts that can help pupils prepare for the transition to secondary school.
The new block builds on the existing IDL Numeracy journey, extending the progression available to learners and providing schools with more content for pupils approaching the end of the existing programme. This reflects IDL’s aim to offer greater challenge and continued engagement as learners progress.

New Online Reading and Spelling Tests
You can now choose to complete IDL’s Reading and Spelling Tests online. When scheduling a new test, teachers can select whether the Reading and Spelling assessments will be completed online or offline, giving schools greater flexibility in how they assess their pupils.
When an online assessment has been scheduled, pupils are directed to the appropriate test when they log in and access IDL Literacy.
The update brings the existing assessment into a convenient digital format and responds directly to customer requests, with the aim of making the assessment process easier to manage and helping to reduce teacher workload.
