About Us

IDLS (International Dyslexia Learning Solutions) provides specialist multi-sensory software programmes to primary and secondary schools in the UK and internationally.  The main focus of IDLS is to provide learning solutions to those most in need, and the software is used by thousands of children across the world.  

IDLS has been part of the Ascentis family since 2013. Ascentis are an educational charity with a mission to enable learners to realise their full potential and achieve their lifelong aspirations.

Wellbeing Action Plan

Here at Ascentis, we are passionate about employee wellbeing, and that is why we have introduced a Wellbeing Action Plan. Our action plan looks at mental, physical, financial, environmental and social aspects of wellbeing. The strategy is reviewed regularly and is communicated through activities, awareness days and internal communications.

Gender Pay Gap

We are passionate about creating an inclusive culture at Ascentis and as part of this, we have been working on our Gender Pay Gap Action Plan. This has resulted in a decrease in the Gender Pay Gap from 27% in 2018 to 8% in 2021. We are continuing to work on ongoing actions, to ensure that the gap continues to decrease.

One Team Scheme

The One Team Scheme embeds staff recognition into everyday interactions by facilitating lots of opportunities for employees to be rewarded and recognised.

We are passionate about developing our employees, and that is why in a 12 month period during 2021 15% of employees were promoted.
