About Us

IDLS (International Dyslexia Learning Solutions) provides specialist multi-sensory software programmes to primary and secondary schools in the UK and internationally.  The main focus of IDLS is to provide learning solutions to those most in need, and the software is used by thousands of children across the world.  

IDLS has been part of the Ascentis family since 2013. Ascentis are an educational charity with a mission to enable learners to realise their full potential and achieve their lifelong aspirations. 

How are we managing during COVID-19?

As one team, we have pulled together to adapt really well to current conditions, and our excellent financial performance and secure position is a reflection of this.

Currently, all employees are working from home during COVID-19. This will ensure not only the safety of our employees which is essential but the safety of their family and friends.

Whilst working from home we are keeping everyone connected through Microsoft Teams, video calls, daily team meetings, updates from the Leadership Team through online videos, and group chats.

Well-being is very important to us as an employer and we value and encourage positive well-being in the workplace. We have shown this through providing resources, signposting details, well-being guidance, making use of our Employee Assistance Programme and regularly communicating company updates. We are also recognising employees' standout contributions through our Star of the Week programme and we've kept in touch with each other through fun quizzes and even having a call with employees and their pets!
